Finding myself in bed on a Monday morning felt amazing.

The smell of pasta woke up. My father was getting ready for office. I saw the time, it was already eight o’ clock! Oh no! I was late for school. Why didn’t mother wake me up? And then it struck me, vacations had started!
After stuffing my stomach with yummy pasta and juice, I went for a bath. Unlike every working day, when I have only ten minutes to take a shower, today I spent an hour in the bathroom. The cold water not only cooled my skin but also my mind and I felt very relaxed. To wash my hair, I used my favourite shampoo which has a strawberry fragrance in it. Hmmm…strawberries are so appetizing!!
When I came out, I felt very fresh. I had plenty of time to style my hair in different way sand click selfies.  All this made me tired so I spent the rest of the afternoon on the couch listening to my favourite songs and watching horror movies.
In the evening, I thought of baking a cake to celebrate the start of my vacations. At first, I carefully followed all the instructions but soon I got uninterested and quickly shoved it in the oven.while waiting for the cake to bake, I started to chat with my friend on phone. After some time, I smelled something burning. Oh crap! I rushed to the kitchen and took out the cake from the oven. It had burnt black! I had completely forgotten about it. My mood was spoiled and I was a little scared about how my mother would react to all this. Would she scold me? Terrified, I told her about what had happened. To my surprise she did not get angry at all, instead she told me to bake the cake again and this time she would help me. My spirits lifted up once again and this time I was even more careful than before.
After the baking ( I took it out on time..Phew!) and dressing, when the cake was finally ready, it looked beautiful! I clicked a lot of pictures of it. At first, I didn’t want to spoil it by eating it but when I ate it ( and I am not flaunting or anything) it was so scrumptious that I took the biggest piece for myself.

Such a grand success has encouraged me to try new things everyday and I am sure that one day I will become a masterchef!
