An eventful day

Teaching has been my passion since early childhood.  Although I often teach my younger brother at home but teaching professionally in a classroom with a whiteboard is a totally different and amazing experience.
Today was my first day as a French teacher at a summer school for kids. The summer camp is in a play school which is at a two minute walk from my house. I had never thought that I would get such an opportunity so early in my life. As it was my first time, I was really tense but, as soon as I entered the classroom and saw three cheerful kids, all my nervousness disappeared. They were around ten years old and were very enthusiastic about learning the language. All of us were very soon at ease with each other. I enjoyed teaching them so much that I did not even get to know when the class got over. Forty minutes felt a very short duration now which seem sooo loooonggg in school.
On reaching home, I shared my experience with my parents. They were very proud of me and praised me. On hearing everything  my brother expressed his wish to go with me to the class. I had never seen him so excited to go to school before!

At around six in the evening, I was in my room with the air conditioner on. Unluckily, the electricity went and the air conditioner switched off. I went to see the matter was. Power had been cut off in the whole area and it was being said that it would only return late at night now. The temperature outside was over forty degree Celsius and the heat was becoming unbearable. It seemed very difficult to pass the time so I came up with the brilliant idea of going out for a movie.
It was very cool inside the movie hall. We spent wonderful three hours sipping chilled coke while enjoying a good movie- Holiday. Thumbs up to Holiday, Akshay Kumar has done a brilliant job in the movie. The movie also deserves a big thank you for saving us from turning into roasted- humans.
When we got out of the movie hall, it was drizzling and it was cooler than it had been a few hours ago. We enjoyed the first rain of this year with ice creams. I had mango ice cream, my all time favourite.
On reaching home, fortunately the electricity had returned. So, we slept comfortably, zzzz zzzz z.
